
their function is primarily to allow a gui for the internet and make it as stable as possible, and yeah, they should put some effort into secuirty – for sure – i am just saying i think external software is more effective and probably more trustworthy, if gotten from the right place. i am the kind of person who never really trusts a browser to be perfect and the only one to blame when there is a security concern. i mean, i know patches are important, for security reasons and glitch fixes, but i think i can choose to work with an older version that has more options for customization and back up any security holes with external software.

seems like they are trying a little too hard to play catch up with firefox and, as you have noted, i found that with each update i lost the use of some extensions. i’ve actually stopped updating pale moon to tell you the truth. and it’s not really whining to be frustrated with a major change that really handicaps a person’s browsing ability. i’m not a coder or anything, i can just think outside the box some when it comes to getting around things or finding things. What extensions are you trying to use for palemoon? i’ve been using it for a few months now and have found a work-around for most extensions that aren’t compatible.
