SHORT DESCRIPTIONS OF THE TESTS The updated TTB is composed of eight tests, and these are summarised below. The list should also be considered to include jobs in both the public and private sectors. This list is by no means exhaustive of the areas in which the tests have been or could be used. The types of industry for which the TTB has been used include: paper and printing, gas, railways, heavy engineering, glass, the motor industry, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, the building industry and metal refining and processing.
